These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of customers when using psychological counseling services on the "A trendy mind" platform. By booking and using the service, customers agree to the terms below.
1. Confidentiality
All clients' personal information and the content of counselling sessions will be kept strictly confidential, except in specific cases as required by law or with the client’s consent.
Clients are required to provide basic information for scheduling purposes, including full name, date of birth, email address, and a preferred contact method.
In emergency situations (e.g., risk of self-harm or harm to others), “A trendy mind” reserves the right to contact a family member or trusted person provided by the client to ensure safety.
2. Counseling Formats and Regulations
Currently, “A trendy mind” only provides psychological support and counselling services online. This format is primarily designed for crisis intervention, emotional first aid, and support for mild psychological concerns. For more complex, long-term cases or those involving psychiatric conditions or moderate to severe psychological disorders, “A trendy mind” will recommend more suitable alternatives. Specifically, clients may be referred to reputable mental health clinics located near them. In cases where clients live in areas without access to local mental health services, “A trendy mind” will provide suggestions and appropriate support to help them access the necessary care.
Counselling sessions are conducted through online platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or other mutually agreed-upon methods.
Clients are required to have a stable internet connection to ensure the quality of the sessions.
Clients are not permitted to record, film, or share the content of any counselling session in any form without the explicit consent of the counsellor.
3. Professionalism of the Counselor
Counsellors at “A trendy mind” are professionally trained, hold accredited university degrees, and have practical experience in the field of psychology. All counselling methods and psychological support provided adhere to professional ethical standards and comply with legal regulations.
4. Regulations on the Counselor–Client Relationship
Throughout the duration of service use with “A trendy mind,” clients and counsellors or staff members of the platform are not permitted to:

Meet in person

Date

Engage in sexual relations

Accept gifts or money from clients

Chat or make video calls for purposes unrelated to counseling, intervention, or psychological therapy
Such behaviors may only be considered after two years from the last counseling session, and only if there is a justifiable reason. However, any actions that occur outside the agreed professional setting and ethical boundaries after three weeks from the last session will no longer fall under the responsibility of “A trendy mind.” Each individual is solely responsible for their actions, in accordance with professional association guidelines and legal regulations.
5. Scope of Services
The counselling service focuses on supporting common psychological issues by providing appropriate guidance and direction.
It is not a substitute for medical treatment, psychiatric diagnosis, or prescription of medication.
If a client’s issue exceeds the scope of support, they will be recommended to more appropriate professionals.
6. Appointment Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
Clients are required to book their appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled session to avoid being charged.
If a client cancels late or fails to attend the session without prior notice, the session will still be charged.
In case the counsellor is unable to attend as scheduled, the client will be informed and offered a rescheduled session.
7. Policy on Discontinuation or Termination of Counseling
If a client wishes to cancel an appointment or discontinue the counselling process, please notify at least 24 hours in advance via one of the following methods:

Uninformed cancellations may affect the counsellor’s schedule and the rights of other clients. Therefore, in certain cases, clients may be charged for sessions they booked but did not attend without prior notice.
8. Right to Refuse Service
"A trendy mind" reserves the right to refuse service in the following cases:

The client engages in insulting, threatening, or harassing behaviour toward the counsellor.

The client requests services beyond the counsellor’s area of expertise.

The client violates confidentiality or ethical guidelines during the counseling process.
9. Referral Process
In cases where a counsellor is unable to continue supporting the client due to personal reasons, professional limitations, or at the client’s request, the transfer process will be carried out smoothly and appropriately.
If a client wishes to change counsellors, we will assist in connecting them with another suitable professional - whether or not they are part of the "A trendy mind" platform. This is to ensure continuity of care and to protect the client’s rights and well-being.
10. Provide feedback and comments
Clients have the right to provide feedback on the quality of services and request a change of counsellor if they feel the current match is unsuitable.

11. Additional Terms
"A trendy mind" reserves the right to modify the terms of use to improve and enhance service quality, and will notify clients of any updates.
Continued use of the service after such changes will be considered as acceptance of the updated terms.
